Advent in Berlin

Advent Sundays 2016

It is worth to enjoy this time. First days of winter, first ideas for Christmas gifts, first plans for holidays… The first Advent is coming to Berlin. 27. November we are starting to count down the days left to Christmas. The second Sunday of Advent this year is on 04. December, the third – on 11. December and the fourth – on 18. December. It is hectic, but at the same time wonderful weeks, when Christmas markets open their gates.

Christmas Market in the Nature Park Südgelände

On the first and second Sundays of Advent romantic market is waiting for the visitors in the water tower in the nature park Südgelände. Around 40 exhibitors provide jewelry, chocolate variations, original porcelain items, hand-sewn patchwork quilts, natural soaps and of course lots of creative ideas for Christmas gifts. For really warm atmosphere – hot punch. The small visitors can enjoy Christmas stories at the decorated Christmas tree.

On the Second and Third Sundays of Advent

You can visit Christmas market on Lehmanns Bauernhof. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Berlin. In addition to hand-crafted Christmas decorations, you will discover here stone art from Africa, participate in a jewelry workshop and taste not only sweet goodies. For the children – story-teller, pony riding, and cute farm animals. It will be really warm and interesting!

On the fourth Sunday of Advent

It’s impossible to stay at home. Especially if you have found an affordable and comfortable accommodation in the center of Berlin. Like Hotel-Pension Classic for example. We are located in the district Schöneberg, where the best Christmas markets in Berlin will take place. And all other attractions of the German capital are also not far from here. Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, KaDeWe, Ku’damm and… But you can come and see for yourself!

We are glad to see you in the hotel pension Classic!
