Parade of the LGBT communities in Berlin
23rd of July 2016 in Berlin will take place Christopher Street Day Parade (or CSD). It is demonstration for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. The Berlin CSD 2016 consists of two parts: CSD Demo and CSD Finale. The CSD Demo starts at 12.00 from the Ku’damm (Höhe Joachimsthaler Str.) and moves via Wittenbergplatz, Nollendorfplatz, Lützowplatz and Siegessäule to the Brandenburg gate.
“Thank you for nothing”
It is the Motto of this year’s CSD Parade in Berlin. The activists will introduce their political demands – same-sex marriage, adoption for all, LGBT-Refugees protection and other. But CSD is not just march for the rights. It is also a demonstration of the diversity and the joy of life of the LGBT communities.
International Pop Shine in the CSD 2016
The highlight of the CSD program is musical performances at the Brandenburg gate. At 16:30 Benjamin Boyce will delight all participants and visitors with his “Love is everywhere”. Other musical presents for the guests are the Spanish pop-star Barei and the famous band from Berlin Culcha Candela.
