International Dance Festival

Every year, colorful International Dance Festival Tanzolymp (Dance Olympus) takes place in Berlin. This year, young gods of dance meet 14-18 February 2019 in the Russian House of Science and Culture and present their skills to an international jury team, consisting of well-known dancers, teachers, and choreographers. Over 1000 young dancers between 10 and 21 years compete in six categories: Classical Dance / Neoclassical Dance, Modern Dance / Contemporary Dance, Character Dance / Folk Dance, Jazz, Pop, and Tap Dance. The competition will be really hot!

Awards and Scholarships

Tanzolymp 2019 is not only exciting show; it is also a hub of the best talents. Famous dance artists and professionals from different countries meet here. So, the festival offers good opportunities for young dancers to forge contacts for an international career and find sponsors. Training scholarships, including one for the Ballet Academy Munich, contracts, cash prizes, and press prizes are waiting for the winners of the competition.

Splendid Gala Evening

The Highlight of the festival is a breathtaking Gala evening at the Admiralspalast. The best dancers in different categories will present their masterpieces on the big stage. Soloists, duets, and groups, as well as ballet stars from all corners of the world participate in the event. And the audience will enjoy interesting choreography, new styles, beautiful costumes and a lot of surprises!
