Spring and challenge
The winter is over, so, it’s time to get in shape. The German capital invites all sports fans to open the running season 2018 together. The highlight of the sport spring is Berlin Half Marathon, the race, which gather in the capital runners, walkers, inline skaters, wheelchair users and hand bikers from all over the world. 08. April 2018 more than 32.000 participants from 100 countries will run through the city.
Better to run than to rot
Said Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. And to conquer 21.0975 km is a huge achievement in personal growth. It is worth to see the Berlin Half Marathon 2018, but it is better to participate! Start and finish of the Half Marathon are on the Karl-Marx-Allee, between Gruner- und Schillingstraße. The route runs over the Alexanderplatz and the Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, Unter den Linden, Straße des 17. Juni, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Otto-Suhr-Allee, Schloßstraße and Windscheidstraße. Along the route there are numerous Samba bands and Catering stands: Neither the participants nor the audience will be bored!
Closing party for the best runners
After the race it’s important to have a good rest. So, the closing party is a mandatory part of the program. It takes place on Sunday, 08 April 2018, at 20:00 in the “PURO Sky Lounge” Europa-Center. And on Friday, 06 April, and Saturday, 07 April, you can visit the exhibition BERLIN VITAL Expo. It will be held on the former airport Tempelhof, and it is a great opportunity to explore everything around the topic lifestyle, fitness, wellness and health.
He who conquers himself is mighty
