The First Days of Winter

From the end of November 2017 the Christmas market around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church at Breitscheidplatz invites Berliner and guests of the capital. Christmas decorations, handmade jewelry and toys, Christmas music and goodies – here you can find everything for the best celebration. Visitors can try out delicious mulled wine (such as apple, cherry or blueberry). And real Christmas hospitality you can feel in pop-up restaurant “Hirschstube”. Here every guest can enjoy the warm atmosphere and try out traditional must-eat foods such as duck gammon and currywurst (a deep-fried sausage with a curry sauce).
8,000 Christmas Tree Balls
One of the highlights of the Christmas market around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is a large Christmas tree decorated with 8,000 red and gold Christmas tree balls. To ensure the festive mood, there are also 100 small Christmas trees and two large Christmas pyramids. And Santa Claus is waiting for the youngest visitors of the Christmas market!
