Art on the Bridge
05May, 2019 the Berliner bridge Oberbaumbrücke will be turned into an art mile – here will take place art show Open Air Gallery 2019. And it’s going to be a real hit of the Berlin events calendar! Graphics and photography, painting and collages, printing and sculptures – at the Open Air Gallery 2019 visitors can discover all genres of visual art and see the works of more than 100 artists.
Pop Art and Street Art,
Object art, experimental and realistic art, surrealism and much more are waiting for the visitors of the Open Air Gallery 2019. Gallery on the bridge offers not only exhibited works of art; visitors can get involved as well. In the middle of the Oberbaumbrücke a 120 m long canvas will be laid on the ground, and here everyone can paint, draw or doodle! Professionals and newcomers, artists and visitors have an opportunity to communicate in the easy atmosphere, to learn art and to find inspiration for the new masterpieces.
Art in the City
Open Air Gallery always takes place on the first Sunday in June and on the first Sunday in September, but in 2019, due to construction work, the open-air art show will be held only on 05 May. The Oberbaumbrücke will be closed for traffic on this day and will turn into a gallery of modern art. Over one hundred stands with exhibited works of art, sketches and drawings, painting and graphics, photographs and photo paintings – Open Air Gallery 2019 offers a great opportunity to see how diverse modern art can be.
