24- 25 September German capital invites all sport fans to the 43. Berlin Marathon! Over 40,000 runners from 120 countries set off on the course. A million spectators usually cheer on the racers. There are also separate races for wheelchair users and handbikers. So, ready, steady, go – to Berlin!
Around the Capital
The Berlin Marathon is a 42,195-km-long struggle and unforgettable experience. Only consistent training and strong character can lead to victory. Start of The Marathon is Straße des 17. Juni, between Brandenburger gate and “Kleiner Stern”. Finish line is also here, so, the Marathon route goes around Berlin. And don’t forget – during the Marathon Berlin is opened for runners, but not for drivers. Warm-Up Exercises and After-Party
Before the Marathon you have to warm up. The organizers invite all interested to do gymnastic with music, to get ready for the fight. And the closing party after the Marathon is also very important – to run 42 km is the great success, it must be celebrated!
Rest for the Athletes
Training is for the athletes very important, but good rest is important as well. And better not far from the finish line – after the Marathon legs feel so tired!
