10 000 Pumpkins
03. to 04. October 2020 all Berliners and guests of the city are cordially invited to visit the most popular autumn festival in Berlin. 10 000 pumpkins in 20 different varieties, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup and pumpkin sparkling wine, varied entertainment, and a children’s program – all this awaits visitors at the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival 2020. The October orange weekend will be held at the Akazienstraße and Belziger Straße: lots of fun guaranteed!
Attractions of the Festival
In 2020, the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival will take place for the 21st time. Pumpkin soups, cakes, macaroons, quiches, lasagnas – all these delicacies can be tasted at the colorful autumn festival. Visitors also have the opportunity to discover the information about pumpkin varieties and recipes as well as decoration ideas around the pumpkin. And that’s not all: as part of the Pumpkin Festival, retailers from all over Germany are once again offering oils, spices, liqueurs, wines, clothing, recycled products, and leather goods.
A colorful children’s program
Schöneberger Kürbisfest 2020 offers not only pumpkin specialties but also a colorful entertainment and children’s program. Artists on stage will be invited to dance and sing along. There are also many exciting things for little visitors. A children’s corner with merry-go-rounds and duck-fishing is set up in Apostle Paul’s Street. Free pumpkin cutting and children’s make-up are waiting for the young guests in Belziger Straße.
